COLLECTIVE MOMENTS

SATURDAY

13.00 - 14.00

Opening Ceremony

This is not a festival. It’s a wake.

We begin by the fire pit in the walled gardens — the moment we shift from arriving to being here. Your presence isn’t just encouraged. It’s essential.

20.30 - 21.15

The Wake

Stop the clocks, open the windows… we are waking a festival. Join our B&S send-off in “festival funeral” attire as we raise the roof and lay memories to rest.

SUNDAY

10.00 - 11.45

Sunday Service —
A.Wake Style

Yoga, meditation, and music woven into a morning ritual for connection, presence, and release — with Fiona Loughran, Susan Quirke, Anna Mieke, and Briaín.

16:00 - 18:00

One Plate for Palestine

We’ll break bread in solidarity with Gaza, sharing Palestinian dishes made with fresh local produce. €15 per plate, or whatever you can give — all proceeds to One Plate for Palestine.

20:30 - 21:30

The Closing Ceremony: Scoileadh Saor

A Ritual of Release with songs, sticks, stones, instruments, and bones.

We’ll burn our losses, send our hopes forward, and dance with the living and the dead.

00.30 - Close

Midnight Trad Session

At midnight, 20 extraordinary musicians from across Ireland gather around the fire for one final trad session.

Tunes will rise, voices will join, and the night will carry us home

LIVING ALTARS

The Temple of Remembrance

A quiet garden for personal reflection and release. At each corner, a place to leave something behind — a note, a memory, a name, even a regret — to burn. Bring your grief, your gratitude, your breath.

The Gaza Shrine

At the garden’s centre, a shrine dedicated to Gaza — a space held in solidarity with those living and lost. Add your offering, your voice, your hope — in grief and in love. Stand as witness
